1. Time is like a river made up of the events which happen, and a violent stream; for as soon as a thing has been seen, it is carried away, and another comes in its place, and this will be carried away too.

西方的人要看见上主的名号，东方的人要看见他的荣耀，因为他要来临，好似被强烈的风催促的急流。

神既是我的，那么在神里面的一切也定规是我的了，定归在我里面了；我能够信多少，我愿意用多少，这是我自己的事。这位神，「大有能力的」神，全能的神，是我们里面的神！这是何等的权利！
