1. 热线：核心部分为温度依赖性电阻元件,热线(hot wire)或热珠(thermistor bead)接通电源时该元件加温,当气流通过热敏件时可使其温度下降,并改变电阻,(热珠温度下降时电阻增加,热线温度下降时电阻减少).
2. 热线式：电子系统改装的另一项要点,就是进气计测的部分,现今的汽车电脑,空气流量侦测基本上是以热线式(Hot Wire)和歧管压力式(Map)为主流,两者的特点大致是Map Sensor属简单的大范围量测,Flow Meter则较为精细.
