1. Methods 15 SD rats, 8 males and 7 females, were set to receive radiant-heat stimulus at 5 different measure points-right and left footplates, tail root, proximal trichotomous point of the tail and distal trichotomous point of the tail to measure their escape response latencies in a constant ambient temperature (21-23℃) at 3 different time points-9:00, 15:00 and 20:00 in 7 consecutive days.
