The authors take an oversize copper-mo- lybdenum deposit in North China for example, present the establishing process of the cutoff grade in polymetallic deposit, the lowest industrial grade in block section, the lowest average grade in mining area, the minimal mineable thickness and rejecting thickness of dunn bass, and point that the industrial index is a dynamic standard along with the movement of internal conditions and external circumstances in corporations, and the original industrial index can be repaired and optimized.
