1. Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying
耶和华以色列的神如此说,我将你们的列祖从埃及地为奴之家领出来的时候,与他们立约说
2. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage.
我们若被卖为奴为婢,我也闭口不言。但王的损失,敌人万不能补足。
3. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
你们要将他们遗留给你们的子孙为产业,要永远从他们中间拣出奴仆,只是你们的弟兄以色列人,你们不可严严地辖管。
4. With whomsoever of thy servants it be found, both let him die, and we also will be my lord's bondmen.
你仆人中无论在谁那里搜出来,就叫他死,我们也作我主的奴仆。
