1. 银/氯化银电极是由银导线上的氯化银沈积所形成，而这电极导线则是被浸在氯化钾溶液中，由於浓化物溶液解出氯化银，在参考半电池内形成氯银错合物，加上其内充满含饱和氯化银的氯化钾缓冲溶液，再透过参考透析隔膜，可与外界的溶液接合这就是哈纳参考半电池的构造。

On the second project, 2, 7-bis(1-mesitylimidazolium-3-yl)naphthyridine salt was used as a carbene precursor, which reacted with Ag2O to yield the corresponding silver carbene complex. Treatment of this silver complex with Pd2Cl2 in CH3CN yielded the dimeric NHC-Pd complex. Structural determination of the palladium complex was discussed.
